Description de emploiMissionIn the area of big data processing, the Database Administrator and Data Modelling division within CSSF’s IT Department is responsible for collecting, formatting, analysing, and transforming data to produce meaningful statistics and reports that enable CSSF’s agents to make more effective decisions. Your mission joining this division is to contribute with your expertise to the core activity of the team. Role & responsibilities » Determine the needs of the CSSF's sectors of activity » Format the data and present it in an easily understandable and visually appealing way for CSSF agents » Communicate the results appropriately to the audience » Develop and lead a data working group with representatives of the CSSF's business lines Your profile » University degree (BAC + 5) in sciences (physics, mathematics, computer science), ideally an engineering profile » At least 3 years' experience in Data Science. Data Engineering / Software Development » In-depth knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms, etc. » Mastery of programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, etc. » Evidence of interest in new technologies » Knowledge of the financial sector would be an asset » Fluency in written and spoken French and/or English » Ability to work independently and as part of a team The successful candidate (m/f) will be hired as public employee (“employé de l’Etat”) under a permanent contract. If the candidate meets the required conditions, s/he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant (“fonctionnaire de l’Etat”). Prior to the conclusion of the contract, the candidate must submit an extract from the criminal record (bulletin n°3), dated less than 2 months, in order to prove their conduct and integrity.
