Description de emploiThe role of MiFID Expert involves assisting the Chief Compliance Officer in regulatory compliance, focusing on MiFID.It requires strong regulatory expertise and will enhance the compliance department's capabilities. Client Details Our client is a leading financial institution providing Private Banking, Wealth Management, and Investment services to corporate and private clients. They are based in Luxembourg with the European HQ. Description As MiFID Expert, you will : » Stay updated on relevant legislation. » Analyze new regulations and conduct gap analysis. » Draft and review MiFID-related policies and procedures. » Assess and manage compliance risks and controls. » Monitor and implement MiFID processes and procedures. » Draft high-quality compliance monitoring memos. » Design new controls and communicate findings. » Review contractual agreements in collaboration with legal teams. » Provide compliance advice and guidelines to other departments. » Participate in regulatory development projects. » Prepare internal and external compliance reporting. » Recommend and issue guidance for corrective actions. » Liaise on MiFID/Market Abuse compliance matters. » Prepare and conduct compliance training across the bank. Profile The MiFID Expert we are looking for has the following profile : » A Master's degree in law or business management. » At least 5 years of experience in MiFID-related compliance. » Strong organizational and analytical skills. » Effective communication skills with a constructive approach. » High integrity, diligence, and commitment. » Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of risk. » Proficient in researching regulatory information. » Accurate, methodical, and solution-oriented. » Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. » Open-minded and eager to develop professionally. » Proficient in English & French.
