We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Finance Manager with a strong background in operations and manufacturing to join our team and provide financial leadership to our Tooling and Medical Operations. Job Description: The Senior Finance Manager will play a critical role in providing financial leadership and support to our Tooling and Medical Operations in Luxembourg, Switzerland, India, and China. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, Global Operations and Supply Chain, this situation will collaborate closely with Operations Business Leads to drive financial excellence. The role has 2 direct reports who are based in Canada and Switzerland. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Planning and Analysis: » Coordinate, prepare, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual rolling forecasts for Labor, Manufacturing Fixed Cost, and cost savings initiatives. Identify and analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast, and drive insights into the variances. » Proactively identify financial risks and opportunities, making recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities. » Lead the coordination and management of the annual planning and budgeting process. » Provide financial inputs and support for ad-hoc requests as required by the organization. 2. Cost Management: » Collaborate closely with the Operations team to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost control measures. » Develop and monitor cost reduction initiatives and targets, ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals. » Lead initiatives to standardize financial processes to provide timely financial insights. » Monitor and report on key cost-related performance indicators and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. » Develop a Labor Efficiency Model and link it to in-year forecasts and budgets. 3. Capital Investment Evaluation: » Provide financial support for the evaluation of new capital investment opportunities. » Develop financial business models to ensure investment decisions are based on realistic targets. » Track financial progress and review past performance to improve future investment decisions. 4.Team Leadership: » Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals » Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment. » Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback. Technical/Professional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: » Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance role supporting operations/manufacturing. » Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to convey key messages clearly. » Adaptable and agile, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. » Ability to handle difficult situations and conflict while maintaining composure and managing stress. » Strong business and financial acumen, with a commercial mindset. » Ability to identify financial weaknesses and implement effective internal controls. » Detail-oriented with the ability to summarize complex financial information for key stakeholders. » Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office, including PowerBI.
